Swiss National Holiday is today
August 1 is the Swiss National Holiday, like the equivalent of Labour Day in Sept. sigh... If we still lived in Basel, we would have had today off.

GRE: my GRE exam is about 1 month away and I finally got off my fat-ass and started to study for it. Started the math section and 30 min into, I am completely distracted by, the Williams-Sonoma catalog, my bank statement, Marlis' books. It's going to be long and tough road for GRE-studying, I fear.
