Container gardening





The great thing about container gardening is how little time is needed to care for it. No need to weed, or add topsoil, just water and sunshine, which we get plenty of on our balcony. Another bonus is that I can grow yummy herbs and veggies without having to worry about animals and other nasty little insects feeding on them, pesticide-free!

Update on my attempt at composting: ugh! There's obvious a science to this. My compost ended up having so many maggot larvae in it that the husband had to throw it out. Gotta learn how to compost on the balcony.
